Design
The lodges are unique, the result of a direct collaboration between The Heritage Park team and a local construction company, Westfield House Contractors. The walls, roof and steel chassis are prefabricated off site then constructed on-site to meet both park home and traditional building standard regulations. The lodges are placed on high quality, concrete bases, with a brick surround and full services including surface as well as foul water drainage.
We visited a number of park home manufacturers when putting our plans together for Heritage Park, none of them could supply the quality we were looking for and they certainly could not offer flexibility of product or supply. We therefore decided not to compromise, and developed our own lodge instead.
Each lodge measures 13m x 6m, and has an open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen, together with two well-proportioned bedrooms. Each bedroom has an en-suite: the master bedroom features a luxurious corner bath, toilet and hand basin, and the guest room is equipped with an attractive shower and loo. There's also a family WC, which opens onto the hall. Each lodge is supplied with attractive decking, and a ramp, designed and built to full disabled access regulations. The lodges are supplied fully decorated, with fully fitted kitchens. Soft furnishings and furniture are left to the owners to provide. The lodges have been designed to offer superb flexibility. The second en-suite can be forsaken in favour of a dressing room, and several buyers have chosen to have an office instead of the family WC. This incidentally is large enough to accommodate full disabled toilet facilities.
There are choices available for tiling, flooring, kitchen worktops and doors so you can tailor make your lodge to your own taste. You can even have a hot-tub built into the decking area!
